It’s natural for things to deteriorate over time. This is just a fact of life. We, as humans, grow old and so does everything around us, even things like stone. The wear and tear of the elements and continued use make buildings weaker, older, and sometimes, the need to be replaced or repaired. No matter how meticulous we are at choosing materials for our buildings, the reality is, maintenance is part of the game.
What is also true is that the maintenance of each material is going to be unique, depending on its own characteristics. The way we take care of glass is not the same as stone or porcelain. The materials that we work with at Atlantic Link are particular and we know how to take care of them.
We will always give you and your clients the information you need to correctly take care of the materials used to ensure the best results over time. But when the time comes that something needs to be repaired or replaced, we are here to help.
Man-made vs Natural materials
Very often, man-made materials cannot be repaired but only replaced. Fortunately this is not the case with natural materials. Repairing is much easier. After all, stone has been quarried for the last 200 years and… it looks similar to this day! While man-made materials might be out of stock or no longer manufactured in 20 years, we can assure you the Italian Limestone will still be available. This is great news, because it not only means we’ll be able to restore the piece to its original look, but it will also save in labor and material costs.

We will work hand in hand with you to make sure that the best solution is applied to each individual issue. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to repairing these materials. However, we promise to make sure that the original look is maintained. Atlantic Link is here for the long haul, no matter what.
